I previously offered consultancy and training directly through my personal practice. I now deliver all of these services exclusively through Social Care Skills, the company I direct as part of DS Wellbeing and Development Network Ltd.

This shift reflects the growth of my work and the need for a dedicated organisational structure that can support a wider range of projects, partners and delivery formats. Working through Social Care Skills ensures that every engagement benefits from consistent quality assurance, administrative support and access to a broader network of trainers and associates.

What I Deliver Through Social Care Skills

Through Social Care Skills, I provide consultancy, training and development support to children’s homes, supported accommodation providers and wider adult and children’s social care services. My work typically includes:

  • Support with service development, improvement and strategic planning
  • Compliance, quality assurance and mock inspections aligned with regulatory frameworks
  • Design and delivery of training programmes for staff, managers and leadership teams
  • Specialist consultancy in trauma-informed, relational and evidence-informed practice
  • Bespoke projects focused on culture, systems and outcomes

Although I lead many of these projects personally, delivery is supported by a small network of trusted associates where appropriate.
