In October 2024, Miguel assumed the management of Social Care Skills, following an initial period of collaboration.

In this role, manages and provides consultancy and training services in areas related to adult and children social care, with especial focus on supporting providers of residential children’s social care, helping them navigate sector challenges and improve the quality of care and support they deliver.

From April 2025, Social Care Skills was incorporated on DS Wellbeing and Development Network

SOCIAL CARE SKILLS
A hub for learning, reflection, and growth in the social care sector

Social Care Skills offers a wide range of online seminars, resources, and support services for professionals working with children and young people. Our focus is on practical, accessible learning and sector development rooted in real practice and policy awareness.

RE:SHIFT COLLECTIVE
A fresh approach to education and wellbeing

Re:Shift is an alternative education and development programme that creates space for young people to explore, learn, and reconnect with themselves and others. Centred on empowerment, creativity, and emotional wellbeing, Re:Shift offers youth-friendly learning that goes beyond the traditional classroom.

Social Sciences ADN is a developing platform for research, writing, and knowledge-sharing across the fields of social care, education, and youth development. We aim to connect people and ideas that challenge assumptions and move conversations forward.
